Level 1: The course will refer to gems (precious stones, gemstones, organic gems, and pearls). Explanation of professions related to gemology. Learning the rules regarding trade, gem formation, and mines. Learning to recognize them, to choose them, to understand their treatments and maintenance, as well as acquiring the necessary knowledge to select and/or purchase them wisely. All basic notions of gemology will be addressed. Gemology will then be studied in a slightly more in-depth manner after assimilating these notions. Plan for €55 for the acquisition of a basic gemology kit to be handed over to the trainer on-site.
