In 2026, the EDF Odyssélec visitor centre at the Cattenom nuclear power plant is reopening its doors with new activities for the whole family. Cattenom nuclear power plant: the Energy Agency is recruiting its new agents! Young adventurers aged 12 and over are invited to take part in a unique immersive escape game: a mysterious organisation has taken control of several systems at the power plant. To restore the situation, participants join the Energy Agency, an elite unit tasked with solving a series of puzzles and taking on team challenges to regain control of the control room. Throughout their mission, the aspiring agents will explore the secrets of electricity production, discover how a nuclear power plant works, the main principles of safety, environmental issues, and the professions that contribute every day to producing low-carbon electricity. A fun and educational experience, designed to learn while having fun and discover the behind-the-scenes world of energy like real special agents. Activity reserved for children aged 12 and over. The presence of an accompanying parent is mandatory.
