The Utopians energetically blend rocksteady and funk. The group, which includes former members of Moon Invaders and is led by Nicolas Nsakala, has quickly made a name for itself on stages in Belgium, France and Germany thanks to its infectious melodies and electrifying performances. They have also accompanied Jamaican legends such as Winston Francis, Stranger Cole and Alpheus. After releasing their first EP in April 2023, The Utopians unveil their first album on Badasonic Records, confirming their place among the most promising bands on the ska-rocksteady scene.
