Setting off from Metz with a simple “Bangkok” sign and no fixed itinerary, adventurer and Metz-based filmmaker Jules Riss embarked on a 15,000 km hitchhiking journey through 16 countries. Over 66 days, he travelled thanks to encounters, mutual help and the hospitality of hundreds of strangers. The documentary tells this human adventure, in which hitchhiking becomes a way to meet others and question our relationship with trust. The screening is followed by a discussion with Jules Riss about the behind-the-scenes of the journey, the encounters and the lessons learned.
