The “Night of Languages,” organized on the eve of the European Day of Languages by the Pierre Werner Institute and the European Parliament Liaison Office in Luxembourg, is a lively celebration of linguistic diversity in Europe. The programme includes a concert, slam poetry, stands, presentations, an interactive quiz, and is rounded off with appetizers. This year’s programme also marks the 40th anniversary of Portugal and Spain joining the European Union, an opportunity to celebrate the languages and cultures that have enriched the EU throughout its history. Come and meet enthusiasts of the well-chosen word (authors, speakers, grammarians, musicians, etc.) who will take you on a journey across Europe.
