True to its eclectic and bold DNA, the festival will unfold this year through a dozen evenings across the Île-de-France region. From October 22 to December 5, more than twenty cities will take part in this new edition, making Les Femmes s’en mêlent a space for movement, discovery and showcasing the artists who are renewing contemporary music. Death Valley Girls For nearly a decade, Death Valley Girls, a mystical and rebellious rock’n’roll band from Los Angeles, have used their music as a way to tap into a collective cosmic energy. On albums such as Glow in the Dark (2016), Darkness Rains (2018), Under the Spell of Joy (2020) and Islands in the Sky (2023), the band has challenged the crushing banality of modern life while celebrating its “true magical and infinite potential” through a collage of blazing proto-punk riffs, infectious melodies, wild lyrics and lysergic instrumentation. Today, with their new album on the horizon, Death Valley Girls continue to channel that same ecstatic energy into something even broader, more communal and transformative. Bella and the Bizarre Straight from Berlin, Bella and the Bizarre are ready to captivate you with their unique sound and boundless energy. The band offers a wild fusion of garage punk, sixties rock’n’roll, surf rock and a touch of soul. Bella and the Bizarre draw from a wide range of influences, from Wanda Jackson to The Remains, as well as Eartha Kitt and the Ramones. The band blends these many inspirations and brings them to life through Bella’s raspy, captivating voice, enhanced by gentle vocal harmonies, incisive guitar riffs and bass lines
