Jeff Schinker, with Pitt Simon, presents a creation directed by Jacques Schiltz, with set and costume design by Michèle Tonteling, lighting by Antoine Colla and dramaturgy by Karolina Markiewicz. You live in the city, pay rent and know the contradictions of urban life. But what if there were another way out, perhaps even a counter-culture? This creation looks back on more than fourteen years of experimentation at festival sites across Europe, among dubious hotels, patched-up tents and vans. It argues that the tent is not a fallback solution but a deliberate choice; that friendship is an infrastructure and an act of resistance; and that the present can be redefined and rebuilt like a tent. Ma vie sous les tentes explores this conviction: what it demands, offers and costs, not as a utopia but as something that can be recognised and shared.
