Meet the Queen of Łeba, a woman who has spent forty years building a life around smoked fish, hard work and her community. In the Baltic seaside resort of Łeba, Miecia runs a legendary fish smokehouse that has become the centre of her world and an essential part of the local community. As health problems force her to slow down, she must ask who she is beyond the work that has defined her life.
