So, what if we tell you: Yay, the Festival des Migrations is back! Noooo, not when all the birds decide to go get the sun somewhere South and leave our grey skies, but the yearly festival that celebrates cultural and citizen differences in Luxembourg 🇱🇺
How about a trip around the world in 3 days? A chance to dive into an ocean of cultures, to taste all the best delicacies again and again, to live and share the traditions of all the countries that pepper the world! 🌍
This time, Enovos will be the one supporting diversity & culture… just look at how energetic culture can be!
Through us, Enovos continues its elegant MyStory series to tell you more about the Festival through the eyes of an exceptional woman: Laetitia de Nascimento, a young Luxembourgish mum whose family came from Cape Verde and a Capoeira champion!! Meet African wax stylists and Venezuelan drum players, listen to philo-writers, join debates on cultural diversity and so much more… You will be impressed by everything you will learn and everyone you will meet.🥰
The Festival des Migrations is also the place where you will find:
More than 300 stand and thousands of people from different countries are scheduled. Each stand will have its own atmosphere: India with colorful “Namaste” saris; 50-year old Japanese mums who look not a day past 20 in their cute cherry blossom kimonos; maybe even a sexy lady from Havana who maaayyy share a Cuban cigar if you sing « Guantanameraaaa » (**) with her (no guarantee though)
The Festival is a great occasion to explore the world and meet new people without even leaving Lux… and to take loads of pics (time to change that old profile pic, Nancy)! 📸
And let’s not forget about exhibitions, muuuusic to shake your booty, shows and kid activities... Foodies will have a chance to take bites from everything from moussaka to couscous, feijoada and poutine! A chance to surprise your taste buds with savors you didn’t even know existed!
