Ahhhh, how we love seeing new things arrive, new shop windows come to life and empty stores being brought back to life! 😍 Over the past few months, while out and about, we’ve spotted a few new places, unexpected concepts that caught our eye and that you might like too.

🇱🇺 FAT CAT, THE STREET FOOD RESTAURANT IN CLOCHE D'OR
If you knew the former Table de la Chapelle, you won’t be disappointed by Fat Cat (we approve of the name), the new spot combining a restaurant and bar in Gasperich, just a stone’s throw from the Cloche d'Or 🐱 We had a little team lunch there, and it was DE-LI-CIOUS. And believe us, we tried almost every dish on the menu (and helped ourselves to each other’s plates) 🤤
The meals are hearty, the portions are generous, and there’s even a terrace if you want to enjoy the warmer days.
On the menu: tapas to share (mac & cheese, onion rings, mozzarella sticks…), traditional dishes (tartares, salads, burgers, fish, meat), and even a weekly menu. A big plus for vegans, who will also find plenty to enjoy!
And for billiards enthusiasts, there’s also everything you need to play a few games 🎱
🇱🇺 GYROS THE ORIGINAL: a place in Hamilius that smells of Greece
After introducing souvlaki with Souvlaki The Original, Rue du Fort Bourbon, Luxembourg, the team is back with Gyros The Original. An address dedicated to another essential of Greek street food.
🇱🇺 D'Ceviche & Brasa, new Peruvian restaurant in Esch-sur-Alzette
Looking for a change from the traditional restaurant outing? Head to D'Ceviche & Brasa in Esch-sur-Alzette, a spot that puts Peruvian cuisine in the spotlight. On the menu: fresh ceviches, charcoal-grilled dishes and Peruvian specialties prepared with fresh ingredients and traditional recipes.
Between the ceviche clásico, lomo saltado and causa limeña, you can definitely arrive hungry. A great place if you’re looking for a Peruvian restaurant in Luxembourg, exotic cuisine or simply a new spot to try in the south of the country 🌶️🇵🇪

Let’s stay in Esch-sur-Alzette a little longer! Head to Rue des Jardins to discover the brand-new concept of La Biscuiterie - Café Céramique. A new place where you can let your creativity flow over a coffee and a lovely ceramic piece to personalise 🎨
The concept? You choose your ceramic piece, grab your paintbrushes and start a little painting session—no need to have studied at art school ;)
Such an original activity to do with your friends, family, partner, niece... and we can’t wait to try it!

With its world inspired by correspondence and literature, Cire Papier Plume à Metz immerses you in a slightly retro atmosphere, perfect for a break, a date or an original activity 💌
Here, you can come and have a coffee, settle in comfortably and let your pen take a little control. The idea? To rediscover the pleasure of writing, corresponding and taking your time, far from messages sent in three seconds on WhatsApp ;)

🇫🇷 NEW POOL AND NEW TERRACE AT LE GLORIA RESTAURANT
Located in Saint-Julien-lès-Metz, Le Gloria first opened its doors at the end of 2025 with its festive restaurant concept. A few months later, the venue stepped things up with the arrival of its outdoor area and swimming pool, inaugurated in mid-July 2026 👙
Since then, Le Gloria can also be enjoyed during the day with an Eat, Swim & Chill package, open 7 days a week from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.: you can come and enjoy the pool, grab a bite to eat, sip a drink and chill in the sun before returning to the livelier evening atmosphere 😍
