Dressed in long white skirts, five august figures stare at the audience. Are they beings of flesh and blood? Olympian gods? There forever, or mere mortals? Aerial even when they fall, melodious even when they groan, harmonious even when they pretend to expire, they play and replay their own death. The scenes of agony multiply, with a lot of hemoglobin. Starting from children's vision of death and the aftermath, the Swiss artist Tabea Martin imagines a cathartic choreography that questions our representations on the subject, and makes us die of laughter more than of fear!
