The Château de Courcelles invites Charlélie Couture to present a selection of varied works which suggests the broad spectrum of his inspiration. Charlélie Couture was born in Nancy in 1956, graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts, he has dual nationality Franco-American. Drawings, photographs, sculptures, paintings on various supports (stretched or free canvases, tarpaulins or shower curtains), the exhibition presented at the Château de Courcelles offers works whose creation spans around forty years. The inspired work of Charlélie Couture is similar to the approach of the “Urban Poetic” artists, who focused their research on the relationship that exists between the perception we have of reality, and the interpretation what we make of it. Without being a retrospective strictly speaking, this exceptional presentation will allow the public to discover the extent of the research of this free, unclassifiable artist
