Once or twice a month, always on a Tuesday, the Cité Bibliothèque offers literary authors the opportunity to present their books and read extracts from their works, followed by an exchange with the public and a signing session. Love and trauma are as intertwined as the past and the present in Chris Lauer's poetry collection. From the party in the tent with drunken fists And fixed doe eyes to the "kiss that looked like A handshake" through the hope of a common healing, the panorama of desire, Of affection And of rejection extends. Lauer writes openly about the difficulty of self-determined female sexuality.
