Kate Cheka is a British comedian and recording artist who has performed in eight different countries on four continents. She started in Berlin where she organized and hosted two shows, an open mic for women and a showcase for women of color. She won the Funny Women Awards 2023, was a regional finalist in the BBC New Comedy Awards in 2022 and a semi-finalist in the Funny Women, and One to Watch in 2022. Other honors include finalist in the Berlin New Stand-up Award 2019 and the nominee for the BBC Radio 4 Introducing New Comedy Award 2019. Said to have "elegant comedy, delivered with a terrific mix of joy and contempt", she does comedy to upset someone one who once said "I thought you were more fun".
