House Dance is a social dance to House music that mixes salsa, capoeira, tap-dancing, bboying, etc. It appeared in the 1970s and 1980s in clubs in Chicago and New York. The House Dance that we practice is improvised and emphasizes fast and complex steps, bounces, and floor work.
