In the solo performance Dreamer, Anne-Mareike Hess ventures beyond the thin boundary separating reality from imagination and feeling from fantasy. The dreamer - a sensual incarnation of awakened femininity and a transparent surface for spectators' projections - captivates the audience with her voice and ever-changing appearance in a surreal space that gradually reveals patriarchal inscriptions on the female body. The performance will be followed by a reading performance on the book "On Fighting, Dreaming, and Weaving" including a discussion with the audience.
