The trio Weaver by choreographer Anne-Mareike Hess is a choreographic round about the female body and its inevitable link with a history of violence and oppression internalized for thousands of years. The image of weaving is used as a metaphor for the reticular connection of women's destinies through time and space. And as a choreographic base along which the bodies of the dancers connect and emancipate themselves. Can the web of violence be broken?
