"Speech Therapy Rehabilitation: Progress Can Be Made Even Years After a Stroke"
A stroke can transform the patient's speech, elocution, reading, writing, comprehension, but also swallowing. The public is still often unaware that many of these problems can be treated with speech therapy, even years after the stroke. During this meeting, we will discuss the perspectives offered by both speech therapy and support from a speech therapist. A slot will be set aside for questions from those affected.
With: Myriam Kieffer and Astrid Houwen, speech therapists and members of the scientific committee of Blëtz asbl
The event is organized by Blëtz ASBL, a non-profit association that works to support those affected by a stroke in Luxembourg.
