A composition for three instrumentalists (cello, viola, voice) and loudspeakers, "Les Disparitions" is as much a listening experience as a concert, a series of answers to this seemingly simple question: how does a sound disappear? The piece brings into play a composition system based on experimentation, guided by oral instructions or mathematical equations.
