Lulu Massa is a model worker: his productivity is held as an example by his boss. However, other workers disapprove of the grueling pace and despise him for ignoring their demands. Caught up in the dreams of consumer society, Lulu occasionally realizes the vanity of the life he endures. After a work accident where he injures a finger, the other workers strike in solidarity...
