Haunted Worlds Workshop
Haunted Worlds is a new cycle of creations that begins with the complexity of reality, our impasses and our blind spots, to move toward new ways of populating the world. The theme of haunting is at the center of this project: what are the buried narratives, the ghost stories that our dominant narratives prevent us from hearing? The current state of our society forces us to a form of lucidity: the present is cracking and, with it, the great narratives that yesterday supported us are now revealing their obsolescence. From these cracks, now undeniable, reappear minor, inaudible, invisible narratives that come back to haunt us.
How did these stories organize themselves to survive the silence, to become these precarious yet very lively glimmers that now haunt our memories, our dreams, and remind us of the tremors of our humanity? Through a collective writing and sharing workshop, we will seek to understand where these stories are located, what form they can take, and what are the conditions for making them emerge.
