Join Wolfgang Müller, Gudrun Gut, and Balkenstein for a dynamic evening inspired by the Galerie Requisite exhibition. Celebrating music, the West Berlin art scene, and performance, this event blurs the lines between art and reality in unexpected ways.
Come experience immersive Takeover Thursdays at the Konschthal, where each exhibition comes to life in a completely new way. These special evenings offer a fresh perspective, as guests from diverse backgrounds reinterpret the exhibitions through their own prisms. Each evening offers a unique experience—each event is shaped by changing themes related to the current exhibitions. Expect an exciting mix of concerts, readings, performances, workshops, and unexpected encounters that transform the Konschthal into a dynamic creative space.

7:00 p.m.-8:30 p.m. – Vinyl Set by Balkenstein Stulpnagel
During Takeover Thursday on June 5th, Balkenstein Stulpnagel will exceptionally play only old vinyl: Kosmonautentraum, Einstürzende Neubauten, Virgin Prunes, Liaisons Dangereuses, Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft…, and of course, a little bit of Keiji Haino. Better too much than not enough…
8:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m. – Exchange between Wolfgang Müller and Gudrun
Gut Gudrun Gut and Wolfgang Müller met in the 1980s in the West Berlin subculture. Gudrun ran a fashion boutique there called Eisengrau and played in bands like Mania D and Malaria! Around the same time, Wolfgang founded the band Die Tödliche Doris and published a manifesto of "Genius Dilettantes." They talk about what they have in common and what sets them apart, about the past and what is today. In their performance, the Tödliche Doris appears in Esch-sur-l'Alzette.

10:15 p.m.-12:00 a.m. - Playlist by Balkenstein Stulpnagel
