Adopting the term "Silicon Island" for Kyushu's industrial hub in Japan, it showcases the impact of miniaturization on semiconductor performance and image resolution. The exhibited works evoke ruins and disasters, drawing parallels between natural collapses and contemporary urgencies. Presented as part of the European Month of Photography in Luxembourg.
