For his new studio album, Bertrand Belin explores new soundscapes, continuing and deepening his musical research. The piano, majestic in several pieces, adds an additional grace to the electronic/guitar/drums blend, already present in his earlier albums but reimagined here. Strings also enhance the harmonies and amplify the vocal impact, evoking various emotions tied to the existential themes addressed: our place in the world, our relationships, our hopes, and fears. With renewed attention to singing, Bertrand Belin develops prose that elevates his legendary minimalist style to new artistic perspectives.
