With her upcoming EP Territoire set to release in autumn, Yolande Bashing continues her exploration of Francophone pop with techno nuances, blending disenchanted poetry and electronic rhythms. This EP portrays a world where characters navigate an imaginary space: an open space in the countryside, a green plant in an office, a company where employees experiment with life without genuine desire, simply because "this is how we do it." Yolande Bashing, a symbolic figure of this absurd routine, invites reflection on daily life and the search for meaning in a world mixing the absurd with the mundane. Annie-Claude Deschânes combines music and artistic performance to reshape conventional expectations of live shows. Inspired by minimal pop and electronic pioneers, she embarks on new projects, stepping out of her comfort zone.
