Alongside the play "Success Story," Alain Schumann – an actor of the production – swaps his stage costume for that of Jackie Moontan, his lunar alter-ego who is an eccentric crooner, a lover of funk, disco, and absurd stories. Self-proclaimed as 'your mother’s favorite singer,' Jackie Moontan delivers hybrid performances, ranging from concerts and theater to pop delirium. Inspired by James Brown, Bowie, and Parliament Funkadelic, his universe combines unconventional songs, kitsch visuals, and whimsical characters – from a hippo's lover to a vintage speed dating enthusiast.
