Jazz musician and founder of the OZMA group and the Tangram Company, Stéphane Scharlé is an artist well-versed in composing music for imagery, stage performances, and cinema. For his first solo project in this field, he revisits René Clair's film 'Paris qui dort'. This film, blending dream and reality, portrays a lifeless Paris, almost devoid of its inhabitants, discovered by a select few. Using an augmented drumset capable of generating loops alongside various sounds and electronic effects, Stéphane Scharlé crafts a new soundscape, resonating with repetitive and minimalist music.
