A rising star in the piano scene, the Briton Jeneba Kanneh-Mason stands out for her ever-renewing curiosity in her repertoire approach. A brilliant advocate of Florence Price's music, she also represents the voice of William Grant Still, another long-overlooked Afro-American composer. In her recital, she combines their works with those of Bach, Beethoven, and Debussy, three guiding stars of the pianistic firmament, thus redefining the history of her instrument in the light of a new humanism, transcending boundaries of genre or time.
