The 10th edition of the The Blast Furnace festival will take place on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at 6 pm in Belval!
This event is the perfect opportunity to visit the Blast Furnace and the « Cité des Sciences » in a festive setting and spend a wonderful time with your family. Immerse yourself in an unforgettable atmosphere in the heart of industrial heritage and be seduced by dazzling artistic performances, music and entertainment for children.
THE PROGRAM
FRIDAY, JULY 4
4:00 pm to 10:00 pm - Zipline Adventure: this year, a brand-new, even longer course (last climb 9 pm).
SATURDAY, JULY 5
6 pm to 10 pm - Free tour of the blast furnace with Fonds Belval guides (last ascent 9:30 pm), zip-line (last ascent 9 pm) and free play area by Jugendtreff Déifferdang (Cast Iron Ladle Hall).
Throughout the evening, you'll also find exceptional workshops and performances:
- Percussion workshop by Ebrima Mass (Place des Hauts Fourneaux, 6 pm - 6:45 pm)
- Acrobatic duo F.D and musical clown duo Loui et Billy by Zaltimbanq (Place des Hauts Fourneaux, 6:45 pm)
- Children's reading by Il était une fois (Möllerei, 6:45 pm and 7:45 pm)
- African dance workshop by Abdoulie Syllah, accompanied by Ebrima Djembé Tambana (Place des Hauts Fourneaux, 7 pm)
- Presentation “Belval: the reconversion of an industrial wasteland” (Salle d'exposition, 7:15 pm)
- Clown-musician duo Loui et Billy by Zaltimbanq (Place des Hauts Fourneaux, 7:45 pm)
- Concert by the group Choco y sus Cómplices (Place des Hauts Fourneaux, 8 pm)
- Presentation “Belval: Converting an industrial wasteland” (Salle d'exposition, 8:15 pm)
- Y'a d'la joie" fire show by several companies, including La Salamandre (Ënnert den Héichiewen, Rockhal side, 10 pm)
- DJ Set by Dj Sav (Place des Hauts Fourneaux, 11pm)
SUNDAY, JULY 6
10 am to 7 pm - Free tour of the blast furnace (last climb 6:30 pm)
11am to 7 pm - Zipline Adventure (last climb 6 pm)

Throughout Saturday evening, a host of sweet and savoury foodtrucks will be on hand to satisfy your cravings, from dinner to dessert!
