Coilguns Originating from the DIY hardcore scene, Coilguns have since crafted their own explosive blend of furious punk and ecstatic noise-rock. The band's history is closely linked to the development of the label founded by their guitarist Jona Nido, Hummus Records, which today brings together up to 130 releases by Swiss artists with varied sound aesthetics.
Although their last two albums were fully self-produced, recorded, and mixed by the band members, Coilguns traveled last summer to the Oceansound Recordings studio, located in Norway, to record their fourth studio album with producer Scott Evans in 2024.
After only a few shows in 2023, the quartet from La Chaux-de-Fonds intends to unveil new tracks and test their new live set. The band is known for its raw, euphoric, and uncompromising performances catering to dancing freaks and crowdsurfing weirdos.
