The traveling exhibition, presented in French and German at the National Museum in Esch-sur-Alzette, examines the life stories and experiences of approximately 7,000 women deported from France and Luxembourg to the Ravensbrück concentration camp due to political repression. It highlights the diversity of the social and national origins of these women and illustrates how traditional gender roles shaped resistance and persecution. Selected biographies narrate the various facets of resistance, detention, and survival. The exhibition is bilingual in French and German.
