"The Last of Their Kind" marks the debut of Trio Accanto with their new pianist Stefan Wirth. Alongside Katinka Deecke, the group has developed a collection of melodies about endangered animals, enhanced by a video by Georg Lendorff. Through brief compositions, ten composers will provide a sonic representation of these species. The diverse aesthetics of these composers reflect the various worlds of these animals.
