Welcome to the PEKiP course! PEKiP stands for Prague Parent-Child Program. This program, developed by Dr. Koch in the 1960s in Prague, focuses on the development of babies during their first year of life, especially through play and movement.
The course is designed for parents or grandparents accompanied by babies aged eight weeks to their first birthday. Weekly meetings, lasting 90 minutes, are organized in fixed groups of six to eight participants under the supervision of a certified instructor. The sessions take place in a warm environment to provide children with a comfortable space to play without clothing, fostering their activity and satisfaction. Participants explore stimuli designed to enhance the physical, mental, linguistic, and social skills of children during this critical developmental period.
