Mudam Luxembourg - Musée d'Art Moderne Grand-Duc Jean
Follow All events of this business
This workshop invites you to explore sound, space, and materiality through clay. Together with the artist, you'll listen to sounds and record them within the museum, getting inspiration from the reflections triggered by this act. Using these sonic experiences, you'll shape clay objects to express personal narratives. The workshop concludes by linking these creations into a collective "map" of sound narratives that blends space, memory, and artistic expression. Biography: Dijana Engelmann is a visual artist who graduated in sculpture from the Academy of Fine Arts in Split. Often involving clay and participatory formats, her practice explores the relationship between material, memory, and narrative. Drawing on personal experiences of migration and living in multicultural environments, she investigates the fragile relationships between real and imagined spaces. She lives and works between Luxembourg and Croatia.
