We meet, laugh, and dance where we feel good: at the local café. 'Metropolis of Steel,' Esch-sur-Alzette has long been renowned for its lively cafés. Esch by Night immerses you in the social and musical vibrancy of this golden era. Experience six varied evenings in Esch's cafés, ranging from accordion to electronic dance, from tea dances to rock and hip-hop. Meetings with local artists and practical workshops are also part of the program. The first evening celebrates 'DJing' with DJ Jerry Libardi a.k.a. Funtomas and the duo LoOn DJs, who will share their stories and energize the dance floor. Esch by Night is a project by the Escher Theater in collaboration with historian Laura Steil.
