Regular guided tour: A stroll through art
Every Saturday, join the guided tour of the permanent exhibition "A Stroll Through Art", exploring European drawings and sculptures from the 17th to the 19th centuries. The permanent exhibition at Villa Vauban takes visitors through three centuries of artistic creation, from the 17th-century Dutch period through the dreamed places of Italy to mid-19th-century French painting. This exhibition includes small formats, miniatures, and a spectacular room dedicated to the acquisitions of Pescatore, a benefactor of the City, made during the auction of works owned by King William II of the Netherlands in 1850. An immersive video projection starts the journey, setting the ambiance for the artworks to be discovered.
