On the occasion of the International Day against Food Waste, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Viticulture is organizing a conference on the theme "Wasting Less Food" on September 23 at the Forum Geessekneppchen. The scientific journalist and author Ranga Yogeshwar will lead a conference titled "Emil's World – A Society in Transformation" to introduce the topic. He will discuss the question, in what kind of world will his grandson Emil live? The preservation of natural resources is essential for our descendants to live well on Earth, primarily through reducing food waste.
