What we will do together
1. Cycle from Luxembourg train station (in front of the police station) to Lake Echternach (approximately 42 km).
2. Have a picnic at Lake Echternach.
Those who choose to end their walk in Echternach can take the bus back to the city after the picnic.
3. Cycle from Lake Echternach to Diekirch station (approx. 29 km).
If we maintain an average speed of about 18 km/hour and have a total stopping time of 90 minutes (including a 1-hour picnic at the lake), we can complete the ride in 5 hours.
Return home from the arrival point (Diekirch station)
Trains run from Diekirch to Luxembourg station every 30 minutes. Buses also serve the city from Diekirch.
