M.A.I.R, also known as Mairo, of Eritrean origin, represents an emerging force in Swiss rap that is bold and creative. From the age of 13, he laid the groundwork for a universe that later came to fruition with standout projects: "95 Monde Libre" in 2020 set the tone, "Rougemort" in 2021 paved the way, and "Qui a volé le soleil ?" and "Omar Chappier" in 2023 reinforced his prominence with over 10 million cumulative streams and a sold-out tour featuring iconic venues such as La Maroquinerie and La Machine du Moulin Rouge. Mairo is becoming a notable rising star within the francophone rap scene.
