Island
2.0 focuses on Tuvalu, the first country threatened with disappearance due to the
rising water levels caused by global warming. Faced with this emergency,
the archipelago has chosen a new approach:
become the world's leading digital nation. By transferring its territory and
its institutions in the metaverse, it hopes to preserve its sovereignty, its
culture and its traditions.

After several months of interdisciplinary investigation, the Eddi van Tsui collective attempts to decipher the
identity, environmental, economic and legal issues raised by
this techno-digital response and the invisible links that structure our
contemporary realities.
