No Chains, No Masters
The Equal Opportunities Service, in collaboration with the Intercultural Living Together Commission and ONE People Asbl, invites you to the screening of the film 'No Chains, No Masters' as part of the third edition of Black History Month – Luxembourg. The screening will be followed by a discussion with Dr. Amzat Boukari. 1759, on the Isle of France (modern Mauritius), two slaves, Massamba and Mati, endure hard labor on a plantation. One night, Mati decides to escape, profoundly altering their lives.
