Participate in our mapathon to support their actions!
Today, it's impossible for us to imagine traveling, finding an address, or finding our way while hiking without a GPS. For our humanitarian teams, the reality is similar: how can we effectively conduct a medical intervention if maps are incomplete or nonexistent? It is precisely to meet this vital need that we organize our mapathons.
By 2024, more than 6,000 volunteers worldwide had already helped map 2 million buildings, supporting 51 Médecins Sans Frontières projects. This data is essential for improving operations in areas where maps are too inaccurate or outdated.
We will meet on October 29 for a moment of mapping and collective mobilization.
Good to know
Computers will be available on site, but you can also bring your own if you can and prefer.
Drinks and snacks will be available during the event.
