Luxembourg Art Week entrusts the frameless space of the Café this year to the artist duo Celeste, consisting of María Fernanda Camarena (Guadalajara, 1988) and Gabriel Rosas Alemán (México, 1983). Their collaborative practice develops through constant dialogue, giving rise to pictorial and sculptural forms that balance inward reflection and openness to the world. Celeste's abstract vocabulary, enriched by geometries and sensitive rhythms, invokes archetypal elements—celestial bodies, architectures, human scales—that resonate both symbolically and chromatically. For the Café Celeste, the duo envisioned a dynamic environment, merging wall painting and immersive installation. These expansive compositions, designed as transportable devices, transform the space into a place of hospitality where visitors are encouraged to move beyond mere observation. Through a subtle interplay of forms and colors, Celeste's intervention creates moments of closeness and exchange, blending familiar structures to open a shared experiential space.
