Famous contemporary cartoonists and masters of comic art like Gerhard Haderer, Franziska Becker, Gerhard Glück, Greser & Lenz, and many others explore in this exhibition the prominent theme of our time: aging.
Their caricatures touch on topics such as senior citizens, body optimization, anti-aging, dementia, care, frailty, generational conflicts, and demographic change. The exhibition celebrates the new and old aspects of aging and humorously unveils deep-seated feelings and attitudes that diverge from socially accepted discourses on aging. It entertainingly encourages reflection on age-related stereotypes while encouraging laughter about a universal phenomenon: aging.
