✨ Inauguration of the CinEast 2025 Ukrainian Special Programme (11/10) ✨ 🇺🇦
At CinEast, we believe that solidarity with Ukraine is more important than ever, which is why we included a Special Ukrainian Programme for the fourth consecutive year!
🎥 We will open this year’s Ukrainian Special Programme with impact: a screening of "My Dear Théo," the latest film by Ukrainian filmmaker Alisa Kovalenko, @ neimenster.
Structured as a poetic video diary to her young son, the film documents Kovalenko’s decision to join the army in 2022, weaving together the brutal reality of war with moments of love, friendship, and reflection. Intimate yet universal, it is both a personal confession and a powerful plea against the horrors of war.
📽️ Following the screening, don’t miss the cine-debate "Around Ukraine" with ALISA KOVALENKO in conversation with Luxembourg’s Minister of Defence, YURIKO BACKES, moderated by Philippe Schockweiler.
