Mokuchsdag is a futuristic-fantasy-absurd audio play in Luxembourgish. The story is based on the history of the Pfaffenthal and also incorporates elements of the local dialect, Jéinesch or Lakerschmus. At the heart of the story is the antagonistic (and fictional) struggle between the two halves of the valley and their inhabitants. Since the dawn of time (or almost), young Irma has lived with her siblings and her adoptive father Lapsus in a narrow, dark alley, déi schmuel däischter Gaass, which leads from the upper town (Uewerstad) to the lower town (Grund). It is precisely this alley that the Ministry of Urban Development (Ministry of Urban Development, Zement an Trottoirsplacken) wants to wipe off the map in order to redevelop the valley. When little Bobby accidentally crosses the barricades one day, his sister Irma will do everything in her power to save him – and maybe find a way to finally make peace.
