May 1981, on the eve of the presidential election. Denis, a mediocre actor, asked Martin, a failed playwright and his friend of thirty years, to be present at the signing of the sale agreement for his apartment. For Denis, Martin's great quality is being "reassuring"... While waiting for the buyer, the two friends chat, flatter, tease, and mock each other. Gradually, the conversation becomes less friendly... Duval, the buyer, arrives. He then witnesses a comical yet uncompromising confrontation between the two friends. Will he remain a mere spectator, become the arbitrator, or end up being the only victim? A humorous play full of bad faith, hypocrisy, misunderstandings, and sparkling dialogue.
