Create your own hand-painted 50 × 50 cm silk scarf with a festive Christmas theme.
In this 2.5-hour workshop, you’ll learn how to paint on silk using the serti (resist) technique while working with a seasonal design such as a cardinal, mistletoe, falling snow, stars, or winter foliage.
All levels are welcome – no previous experience needed.
What you’ll learn:
How to stretch and prepare silk for painting.
How to apply resist (gutta) to create clean outlines.
Colour blending and shading techniques on silk.
How to work with silk dyes for crisp lines and soft gradients.
Fixing and finishing your painted scarf so the colours stay permanent.
