Reading - Preserving memory for a peaceful future
Two seminal books keep alive the memory of the Second World War:
- Celina Keute presents "Gunshots in the Silence," recounting her great-grandfather's experiences during the war.
- Dr. Kathrin Mess presents "The memory still haunts me today," dedicated to Gerd Klestadt at the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp.
Frank Schroeder, director of the National Museum of the Resistance and Human Rights, provides the historical context for this reading. To conclude the evening, a moment for conversation over drinks will be offered
