Sundays at the Museum!
Discover the Archaeological Museum of Audun-le-Tiche, located in a former desecrated Protestant temple, presenting the collections of the Pays-Haut Mosellan.
Explore the finest pieces from the excavations of the Merovingian necropolis of Audun-le-Tiche (listed as a Historic Monument) and an outstanding collection of Gallo-Roman statues also listed as Historic Monuments (heads of Minerva and Sirona, Jupiter on horseback with anguiped, Apollo, etc.).
Admire a unique item with strong symbolism: the Latin cross pattée, listed as a Historic Monument.
The exhibition spans over 300m², divided into 6 rooms including a video projection, taking you through time from the Paleolithic era to the witch trials of the 16th century and the founding of the famous Boch earthenware factory in Audun-le-Tiche in 1748.
